Mosier Loop

33.6 Miles    2980' Elevation Gain

A favorite loop for riders throughout the gorge this route includes the Historic Columbia River Highway’s “Rowena Loop” section where tight bends twist and turn from the town of Rowena to an overlook with spectacular views of the gorge and the Washington town of Lyle. The south part of the route climbs to 1800 feet. The easiest way to ride this route is to use the prevailing wind direction to help you up the climb; so on west-wind days, ride counterclockwise and on east-wind days, ride clockwise.
